School Governor Vacancies
Saltash Multi Academy Regional Trust (SMART) is looking to appoint parent governors to join the saltash.net Local Governing Board.
The roles, which are voluntary positions, are to contribute to the work of the Governing Board in ensuring high standards of achievement for all children and young people in the school by:
- Setting the school’s vision, ethos and strategic direction;
- Holding the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils; and
- Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent.
We are particularly keen to appoint governors who have experience of premises management and/or health and safety. If you would like to make a positive contribution to the education students receive at our community school, please complete an application form which can be obtained from the Clerk to Governors (contact details below).
